"Sweetheart, you have been the most important person in my life since I can remember, I want you to know that I love you, and I'll love you forever. Will you marry me?"

I think our relationship has come to a point of no turning back. I'm ready for the next step in life, and I want to take it with you. What I'm trying to say is, I love you, and I want to start a family with you. Will you marry me please?"

"Darling, you are the love of my life. You've been my girlfriend/boyfriend, my confidante, my best friend, my lover, you're the person who cheers me on and supports me in everything I do. I'm so happy when I'm with you. Will you marry me?"

"You're the most beautiful, intelligent, kind, wonderful person I've ever been with in my life. I can't imagine being another day without you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?"

"There was a time in my life when I thought I would always be lonely. You changed that. You made me see there was hope and faith and love. If you hadn't been around, I don't know where I'd be now. I love you. I need you. Will you marry me please?"

"We've known each other for a while now, and I feel a special connection to you. I think there's a reason why God let me meet you and fall in love with you. Honey, let's get married!"

"Darling, I would like to ask you something very important concerning our future together. I really hope you'll say Yes, because you're the most important person in my life, and I love you more than anything in the world. Will you marry me please?"

"Sweetheart, I've achieved everything a person could want in life. I've got a great career, great friends and a wonderful girlfriend. But there's one thing missing in my life, and it just wouldn't be the same without it. Do you know what it is? (wait for her to respond) I missing a wife. (Her name) I love you. Please marry me?"

"Honey, I know we've had our rough spots, and I know I've acted really stupid sometimes. But I want you to know, that I've always loved you, and I can't live without you. I'm willing to try and work out all our problems together. Will you marry me please?"

"What happened recently has made me think about a lot of things. About the fragility and preciousness of life. And I realise that you're the most important person in my life, and I want to treasure you, protect you, nourish you and love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me please?"

1. Use those Post-It notes from 3M, they're great! And you can draw stick figures and smilies on them. Use them to say stuff like...""I miss you so much, hurry back", or "I feel so sad when you're not around. :( " See, easy, isn't it? Just one or two lines, you don't have to write a whole sonnet!

2. Food, this is the fun part! If you have time, go to the supermarket and buy some cake icing, the type that comes in a tube with the spout so you can write words with. Buy some large cookies, and draw little hearts on them. Total time will be less than half an hour, and you can pick up the cookies and icing next time you're shopping. Now, put the cookies in a nice tupperware and you can both share these "love" cookies together!

3. Use some whiteboard markers, get then in a variety of colours, and you can make your own balloon notes with them! Blow up some balloons and write words like Love, Honey, Hugs, and whatever else you want to write on them. To make it more fun, you can put small candy bars in some of the balloons and then scatter the balloons all over her house.

4. I saw this in a movie the other day, and I thought it was a great idea! Draw little faces on eggs in the fridge with a marker. Or to expand on that idea, you can spell out the words I Love You on the eggs, so every morning, she'll remember it!

5. You know those old Christmas cards that have been piling up the past few years? Put them to use! Cut out the relevant pictures, get some wire and thread and you can make a mobile to hang from the ceiling with. Of course, behind every picture you would scribble something romantic so she'll keep it!

6. Get an old beer bottle or soft drink bottle. Write a short love note on a nice piece of paper. Something like, "Without you, I would be a lonely island. I Love you" Then use a lighter and burn the edges of the paper so it looks like an old parchement. Roll it up and tie it with a ribbon, or at least a rubber band. Get a needle and poke some thread through the paper, insert the paper into the bottle with the string hanging out, so she can pull the paper out. Viola, your letter in a bottle is ready! Just for fun, try putting it into the fridge and see when she notices it!

I've given you a head start on getting your imagination going, the sky is the limit when it comes to expressing your love! If you have any ideas that have worked in the past, so let us know by writing in to us!
